Judge rejects second plea in fatal crash
A judge has rejected a second plea agreement for Brandin D. Bacon, a Vermillion County man accused of killing a 70-year-old motorcyclist in a hit-and-run crash last fall.

Unemployment figures hold steady for March
Unemployment in most area counties dropped slightly or was unchanged in March. Statewide, March's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate of 8.7 percent was the same as in February, according to the March employment report from the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.
