Buckhannon City Council received a response from an outside investigation requested by city Recorder/Treasurer Nancy Shobe regarding allegations made against her by Councilman Dave Thomas.

Buckhannon Police are investigating an accident that happened on Rt. 33 near the Morton Avenue hill Monday afternoon.

City of Buckhannon landscapers have planted about 20 new pines, dogwoods, and burning bushes near the end of the Main Street exit, off of Route 33.

A Buckhannon man is behind bars after police find marijuana in his home. Brian Miller is charged with possession with the intent to deliver marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school.

The Buckhannon Police arrested a man after raiding his apartment early Tuesday morning.

Deputies already arrested the woman's alleged accomplice. Deputies in Portage County, Wisconsin have arrested a woman on charges stemming from crimes allegedy committed in Upshur County.
