Tyler County Fair begins Monday

The Tyler Consolidated High School Marching Band will perform at 5 p.m., followed by opening ceremonies at 5:15 p.m. All of the royalty pageants will begin on the main stage at 6 p.m., followed by karaoke after its conclusion.

Teacher Arrested For Drugs

Tyler County fifth-grade school teacher Gina Crawford and her boyfriend were arrested Friday by Sistersville Police on drug charges after a search of her home turned up marijuana and prescription pills.

Body found in burned vehicle near Sistersville

The Tyler County Sheriff's Department responded to a call made to Tyler County 911 Center on July 19. The 911 Center received a call at approximately 4:05 p.m. from a passerby reporting a car fire on Greenwood Road near Sistersville, at what is known as Horseshoe Bend.
