Sullivan County denies line-of-duty death benefits to firefightera s widow

After living on the wast coast for approximately 35 years I found that at the time of my brothers death, George R Davidson III, that I didn't really know him. But after listening to so many sing his praise at his funeral and afte I am even more proud to know that my brother was such a community oriented and involved person, wonderful husband and a loving and caring father. But to read the comments and hear what was said during the worker compensation hearings relating to his death by the likes of those small minded, back woods wanna bees from Sullivan County makes me sick. I know if George were a live I know what he would tell them but at the same time. But I am also distinctly proud to say that if one of these people were to be in need of his assistance he would not hesitate to respond. George will always be the bigger and better man than any of those arrogant little people who tried to make light of what he gave to his home town and county. My concern now is how many other dedicated EMS personnel in Sullivan County did these county representative succeed in denying such beneifts.
Lastly, please don't insult my Brothers family by appearing at his induction this October in Maryland.

Sullivan county should be ashamed !i cant wait to leave this place.the widow should get some kind of benefits.i think maybe a lawsuit is a good idea.keep fighting and good luck
