Boone County volunteer firefighter convicted of arson

A volunteer firefighter has been found guilty of arson, court records show. Brett Graham, 19, Kelley, a volunteer firefighter with the Kelley Fire Department, was found guilty of second-degree arson in Boone County.

Branstad names CPA Mary Mosiman as new state auditor

Gov. Terry E. Branstad today named Ames CPA Mary Mosiman, AGE, as Iowa's new state auditor, following last month's announcement by David Vaudt that he was resigning to become the new chairman of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board .
