Montour Falls man critical after 1-car crash

A Montour Falls man was hospitalized in critical condition after being thrown from his car in a one-vehicle accident that occurred at 12:22 a.m. Tuesday in the town of Hector, the Schuyler County Sheriff's Office said.

With one polling place still to be counted on Tuesday night, the race for three seats on the Schuyler County Legislature to represent District III showed Republican Glenn R. Larison leading with 847 votes followed by fellow Republicans Barbara J. Halpin with 827 and Doris L. Karius with 779.
