The Consolidated Public Water Supply District #1 of Schuyler County has issued a boil advisory.A It covers all of Schuyler County east of U.S. Highway 63 that is not served by the towns of Queen City or Greentop.A The advisory is until further notice.

A local electric cooperative has a new building on the drawing board. Fact Finder has learned that Tri-County Electric, based in Lancaster, is planning to construct a $3.2 million facility to replace the four older buildings the cooperative is currently using.

Wednesday, July 08, 2009 at 4:51 p.m. SCHUYLER COUNTY, MO. -- The Missouri State Highway Patrol says they know who stole a car and sparked a manhunt on Tuesday.

A manhunt is underway just south of Queen City as of Tuesday afternoon. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says an officer tried to pull over a car on Highway 63.

The Missouri Department of Transportation announced today that pavement repair operations have been rescheduled for Route 63 in Schuyler and Adair counties.

MoDOT will close to traffic the Route V Bridge over the North Fork of Middle Fabius River in Schuyler County on Tuesday, April 21.
