Big House project dead; Schenectady gets salon school instead
The Big House is out. And Big Hair is in. Metroplex, the economic development agency in Schenectady County, is today announcing that the downtown Big House prew pub and nightclub project is officially dead, but will be replaced by a retail store and training facility operated by hair product company Paul Mitchell.

Federal cash will let Schenectady County finish bike-hike trail work
