Bank supervisor accused of stealing $38,000

Well see how human we have become to PAY for medical for a loved one!One could ASSUME citizans has healthcare, for employees and family, but I'm not betting on it!I would be broke.

Even with health insurance, the cost is outragious! It's not right to steal money, but I can surely understand why she did it. The hospital is an awful bill collector here! They want their money NOW and if you don't give it to them when they want it, they turn it over to the CB so they can harrass you. Sometimes, they dont even bother sending a bill to you, just straight to the CB!

I agree about San Juan Regional and ruining people's credit. They're a horrible institution to try to pay on time. I've lived in the area for a long time and heard horror stories of the hospital wrecking people's credit but, if she was in need of money enough to steal from her employer, why didn't she try to get a loan from them instead?

She is just a thief. that is all. There is no justification for stealing

Have to agree with pinktaco. Yes, our health care system is a frustrating, expensive mess, but it's no justification for theft. Besides, the money could have gone to new toys for all we know.

This is the one in the same hospital who charged my boy 90.00 bucks, just for signing in! That is all he did, and was nice enough to tell them he was leaving! because he saw no doctor, just signed in! 90 bucks!!!? The last three of you are correct, theft is theft!! To bad the hospital is not capable for there own actions!

New lending standards! Only Bank presidents make enough to get a loan or declare bankrupcy! The rest of the employees don't make enough to borrow from there employer, the BANK.

It may be stealing, but Please look at yourself first. Don't say you did not steal athing before, a candy, pencil or ??? The money may cover all, but not all bills right. Every day We read someone stole something, it only will get worse! Cost of food, gas, bills, utility.

Not suprised with the way the U.S. economy is going. People just trying to get bye and survive. I'm sure we'll see more of these cases across the country. People are already stealing ATM's, illegally siphoning gas, stealing gas, etc... what's next? car jacking.

Everyone goes through hard times. We feel sorry for them, why don't the gov do something so people don't have to resort in doing bad/ unrightfull things in the law's eyes. Most people cann't afford to pay for all docter bills. If they can they become brok after words.

Forget the doctor bills who to say that what she used it on the cost of everything is so expencive.

what the hell is everyone talking about?!!. She stoled money that did not belong to her to alledgely pay a hospital bill. What she was going to do with the money is completely beside the point. The simple fact of the matter is that she stole some of my money from the bank- period. If she needed help to pay her medical bills why did'nt she have some fundraiser like everyone else does? I can't believe there are people that are trying to justify this theft because of the a " bad economy", or the fact that we don't have socialized health care. This explanation is just plain rediculous. WHERE ARE OUR SOCIAL VALUES GOING?!!

I like the fact that the bank did not notice until she tried to return the money, its like something out of dukes of hazzard

You know when you write that check for car insurance thats so high? yea...it's thats high because people steal stuff. you know that 50$ pair of jeans that should cost 30$? it is because companies mark up prices because of theft. you pay for theft in everything you buy...don't think any company is going to eat profit due to inventory shrinkage...(psttt that means theft of inventory)
