No, maybe some people have their own lives to worry about. Isn't it possible that some people are even being respectful of the families involved. There are some people in this world that do understand that drug use is usually caused by some type of under lying problem. This is a good man you are talking about. A man that has provided a service to others for years. Any one that really knew him would know how willing he is to reach out a helping hand to others in need.This is his cross to carry. It is not meant for us to judge him- only god. I will pray for this community. Remember, This is someone's son, father, brother. Even good people have are not perfect. I do beleive that he should be held up to a higher standard, but he is still human. Everyone makes mistakes.

Well if you really knew this man you would'nt be taking up for him or his high headed Mom and Dad and his high and mighty sister's. The only ones that he has hurt are his children and himself and he deserved his dentel licenes took years ago.

Yeah, we all make mistake, but I am afraid he will lose his license over this.
Hopefully he will learn from this, but who know.

VANCEBURG — Lewis County authorities on Wednesday arrested a northern Kentucky dentist on felony drug charges.

George K. Miller, 58, of Olive Hill, was lodged in the Lewis County Detention Center, charged with two counts of first-degree drug possession, one count of second-degree drug possession and driving under the influence.

A passenger in Miller’s vehicle, Missy Hinton, 27, of Newport, was jailed on a pair of outstanding warrants — one from Carter County and one from Rowan County.

The Lewis County Sheriff’s Department said it received a report about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday of a motorist driving recklessly on Ky. 59 near the Laurel community. Chief Deputy Johnny Bivens responded and spotted the vehicle, a 2000 Pontiac, traveling in an erratic manner.

Bivens stopped the vehicle, and upon approaching it, noticed that the driver, later identified as Miller, was slurring his words and appeared disoriented.

Miller was unsteady on his feet and failed field sobriety tests, the sheriff’s department said. A search of the suspect turned up four hydrocodone pills and a small plastic bag containing white powder residue, which field-tested positive for methamphetamine.

Miller then gave the deputy permission to search his vehicle, and that search turned up six 30-milligram oxycodone tablets.

Miller was offered a blood test, but refused it, the sheriff’s department said.

Miller practices dentistry in Florence, according to a Web site.

it sounds to me like you all talking about drugs are the drugies because thats all that you talk about. lets talk about the stealing, the houses being broken into.People work our asses off for what they get, and i for one would like to keep what we have worked hard for.

They break into houses and they steal because of their addiction. Drugs causes most of this countys problems.

The one is selling drugs is the one need to be stop, but nobody can't stop them, they making a fortune, and people that sell them to kids, are ruin their life, don't you think so?

I state his dentist career is over, hopefully he will wake up from this, and start over. He still young 55, so who know?

Do you realize that Keith lost a son several years ago? That was life changing. Have some compassion.
Your so called "friends" are the very ones asking for the prescriptions. They are your brothers, sisters, mothers and fathers.
Your children are on drugs because you're not doing your jobs as parents. Wake Up. You are the ones allowing your children to become drug addicts.
