Bovine TB creates hassles, few losses for ranchers
Bovine tuberculosis has created costly problems for the cattle industry in states where the disease has appeared, but it appears to be a manageable threat.
Another round of tests for tuberculosis in Nebraska cattle has come up clean. The state Department of Agriculture announced on Monday that 5,000 cattle tested negative for the deadly disease between June 22 and June 28.
