The effects of the April 9-10 ice storm continue to be felt around the region, and especially in Rock County, where damage was among the worst.

Ruth I. Kirby, 87, formerly of Luverne, died Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Waverly Gardens in North Oaks.

A teenager from Hills was found dead in his car Friday morning, apparently from a self-inflicted injury.
