County approves measure on sale of methane gas

The Reno County Commission approved a memorandum of understanding under which it agreed not to negotiate the sale of methane from the county landfill for 120 days while Kansas Ethanol explores the feasibility and profitability of installing equipment to clean, compress and transport the methane to its plant in Rice County via pipeline.
