Supervisors OK regional jail authority
The Shenandoah County Board of Supervisors approved creation of a controversial regional jail authority and an accompanying service agreement Tuesday night.
Rappahannock County wants to put a new, taller emergency-communications antenna up next to the Sheriff's Office, on the Carrigan property, and has applied for a special use permit from the Town of Washington to do so.
