County Board gives initial OK to domestic partner benefits

Nov. 5, 2009 11:24 a.m. The Milwaukee County Board voted Thursday to lay the groundwork for extending domestic partner benefits to county employees, with questions about the potential cost stacked against assertions the benefit should be a civil right.
