Parking Crackdown Means Hefty Fines

I think it is great! There is a blue truck parked
on New Acadia Lane 24/7 and moved only once or
twice per year! It is against the law!

I think that it is very unfair that the community is unaware of the parking laws that are being enforces when they have not been notified through mail, news or newspaper. For the most part we are law abiding citizens and would conform had we been aware of the changes. Like most people we have been living in the community for many 40yrs and then one da out of the blue you get a parking ticket without any prior notice. This is another way that the governmentis trying to collect money to meet their shortfalls. Another rip off. IF WE ARE PROPERLY INFORMED WE WILL IN MUST CASES ABIDE BY THE LAW BECAUSE IN THIS DAY AND TIME WHO HAS MONEY TO THROW AWAY TO THE GOVERNMENT AND GET NOTHING IN RETURN. SO PUT THE NEW PROCEDURES OUT THERE SO EVERYONE WILL BE AWARE. WHAT'S WRONG WITH PUTTING THIS IN THE NEWSPAPERS (METRO SECTION), LOCAL NEWS AND THE MAIL.
