A Pike County woman was involved in an injury accident in Hillsboro, Friday. Police say Amanda Grooms, of Waverly, was on South East Street and tried to make a left turn at the light but struck a northbound vehicle driven by Dara Prater, of Hillsboro.

Drugs & Cash Found in Waverly Raid
Two people face drug-related charges following a raid in Waverly. Pike County Sheriff Richard Henderson says his office served a search warrant at 159 Wadsworth Avenue, Wednesday night, and seized heroin, drug paraphernalia, and over $127,900 in cash, which is believed to have been obtained through the sale of narcotics.

Fire breaks out at Van-Rob plant in Waverly
Fire crews are battling a large fire at Van-Rob Industries in Pike County. Thick, black smoke billowed from the site, which was formerly owned by the Brown Corp.
A Ross County grand jury indicted two men Friday on felony charges related to an alleged methamphetamine lab found during a burglary investigation in February.
