The National Weather Service in Peachtree City has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for: northwestern Cherokee County in north central Georgia west central Pickens County in north central Georgia northeastern Bartow County in northwest Georgia southeastern Gordon County in northwest Georgia Until 3:30 pm edt.

I think it is a shame that a certain person(who lives on lakeside)thinks he is better than his family. His father has been real sick most of this year but because of jealousy...he turned his head on his father. He did not go for visitation or to the funeral of his father. But he has to live with such a lack of human morals. Everyone in Jenkins is talking about his rudeness. His father was a good man and boss.

You know what he has to answer to no one but God. It is a shame that you get on here and voice your opinion on such a private matter. Is it any of your business..NO. We are so fast to judge people and I have learned that what goes around comes around. You don't know his reasoning behind his decisions,maybe that is the way he deals with grief and death. Don't bad mouth someone on here who just lost a loved one, pray for them!

Open up your small mind, living on Lakeside is no big deal. Death is final and there are no do overs. We only have 1 father no matter what happened. A parent loves their child with a very special love and unconditionally. Sometimes people treat strangers better than their own flesh and blood. Blood is not always thicker than water. GOD is a loving and just GOD.

Maybe this person had problems with his dad. Maybe this person wanted to remember his dad the way he was when he was alive. Maybe this was his way of dealing with death and grief. There are so many maybe's. So maybe we should all mind our own business and let God handle it. My heart goes out to this family. Personally I do not think my daughter could handle emotionally coming to my funeral and I would not want her to damage herself emotionally.

The reason for him not goin to his dad's funeral is his own reasons why take and judge him if it bother you so much as of why he didn't go to it then the next time you see him just ask him .

I am close to the family and i can tell you that he was not abused in anyway. Up to about 12 yrs ago. the son was coming around his father but because of jealousy of his dads new step-sons..he just quit. they were good to him & his wife inviting them to dinners etc. His father had been sick for some time & wanted his son to come & see him. Chistians should forgive & Honor thy parents. The son was grown when his father remarried. God will deal with the son.
