Man Dies In Car-On-Train Collision

In Perry County, a man is dead after a car-on-train collision. Reports say 27-year-old Jeremy Nehrkorn of Pinckneyville died after a collision between his pickup truck and a train around 1:30 p.m. Monday.

Five Arrested For Meth Operation

In Perry County, five people face charges of participating in a meth operation. The Perry County Sherriff's office and Du Quoin Police searched a home on the 500 block of North Pope Street on February 20 and they say they discovered an active meth lab.
