You know I constantly am reading bullshit about the industrial home and if there is so much going on up there wrong why in the hell dont you all prove the allegations you said here I want to see the evidence or is just hear say and rumor ? I think you all are former employees who left by your own accord screwed up and got canned because you could not follow direction and a vision set forth about changing kids lives. Instead of plastering this shit all over the net maybe your lazy asses and go out and get a job , if you can. Maybe you all should grow up. I think I am going to turn this site over to the ethics commission and I know for a fact certain people are getting very close in figuring out who you are and when they do your ass will get prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

I fully agree with screwed up, he seems to be a pretty smart person. I know people that work up there and the only thing that they say is screwed up at that place is that there are a bunch of snakes up there. People that will talk to you to your face but talk shit about you behind your back. To me that is SPINELESS like a SNAKE. These people are the ones in charge of certain things, no not the superintendant, but people that are below him. The superintendant actually is good to work for if you do your job. So that should tell you people about the cowards that get on this site and talk shit about him. They spend thier entire day worrying about what other people are doing because they actually do thier job and make them look bad. That is why they get on here because they want people to think bad about people up there but in actuality there are only a few people up there that makes that place a bad place. If they could get rid of them I hear it would be a great place to work at. If they wouldn't be such cowards and grow some balls instead of hiding behind policies and this stupid blog and confront people that they want or feel the need to run thier mouths about maybe they could work out thier problems or at least know where each party stands on thier issues, but we all know where that goes. Once a spineless snake always a spinelees snake!!

Why not close that jail and enroll all the kids in SIU. They can enroll in SIU for $14,000 per yr. It cost the State $26,000 per yr to house them.
Philly has the right idea send them to SIU it's cheaper.

I agree..they should will learn alot inside and out of the classroom there...

I believe those kids are the most important thing at Industrial Home - this in fighting back stabing worrying about what everyone else does is bull- do I think alot of things at the home is fair the anwser is no but everyones mission there up to and including the superintendent should be a way to figure out how to change those kids lives, I know for a fact the superintendent believes as I do those kids are the most important. I love these people who just work there and suck of the tit of the state hide there for years and never do a damn thing to help those kids. Anyone who beats those kids should be fired and one of the biggest kid beater up there is gone I said for years he was going to hurt someone and because he sucked ass to one of the ums he got whatever he wanted and it turned around an bit IHY on the ass - There is alot of good people there doing great work I commend them and thank them for risking their lives everyday to make a change for those kids and the state of wv.

I feel that we need to realize that these maybe children or young adults up their but they still have committed a crime and need to be punished. Yes, I have children (some will ask) and I have brought my children up to stay out of trouble and I keep a close eye on them. I know for a fact that people can be involved with the wrong crowd, etc., but if they are brought up right they know whether they can follow the wrong crowd or make their own decision and say no and go their own way. Parents need to take responsibility for their children's actions and not say they got involved with the wrong crowd or it was someone elses fault and they were just there. I'm not saying that some things have not been done wrong at the Industrial Home, but those people are being punished. What I'm saying is that everyone needs to realize this is a jail for juveniles and they need to be treated accordingly, not treated like they are there for a vacation or for summer camp. THEY ARE THERE BECAUSE THEY ARE BEING PUNISHED FOR A CRIME OR CRIMES THAT THEY HAVE COMMITTED!!!!
