An explosion that could be heard for miles sent six defense plant workers in south Arkansas to a hospital Monday morning, officials said.

Authorities say at least one person was taken to the hospital after a blast at an east Camden plant.

Damage is reported today in at least 10 Arkansas counties from storms that moved through last night and this morning.

Storms that moved through Arkansas left trees and power lines down in northwest Arkansas and in Ouachita County in the far south of the state.
