Fire engulfed a two-story home in Orange County Saturday night. It started around 11:00 p.m. on Connolly Road, which is off of FM 1131, north of Vidor, near Pine Forest.

Former Vidor teacher indicted for inappropriate relationship with a student

The Orange County Grand Jury returned the indictment Friday against Sondra N. Reed who turned herself in and was taken to Jefferson County Jail where she was released after posting a $5,000 bond, District Attorney John D. Kimbrough said.
