Checkpoints are wrong! It is too reminiscent of Communist Russia or Nazi Germany- "Show me your papers please." The 4th amendment of our constitution gives us the right to be "secure in their persons, houses, papers, effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures...and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause..." Having checkpoints is contrary to probable cause-everybody is stopped. Freedom is what makes our country great. Liberty is wonderful, but it must be maintained. Having checkpoints is not what this country is about. Let's leave the checkpoints to the communists.
