Maxx, Oakland County K-9 Officer, Dies of Natural Causes

An Oakland County K-9 officer, Maxx, has died of natural causes. Assigned to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office's Narcotics Team, the 5-year-old Belgian Malinois was credited with uncovering large quantities of narcotics during his short time with the sheriff's office, Sheriff Michael Bouchard said in a news release.
