A Nolan County Grand Jury indicted 11 people this past week. Six of those indictments were sealed.

During Tuesday's Sweetwater City Commission meeting, discussion was held on the lease agreement between the city and G.M. Morgan, Inc., the entity who is doing business as Sweetwater Lake Marina for the city-owned property known as the Lake Sweetwater Bait Shop.

The Nolan County 4-H Meats Judging Team recently won the District 7 4-H intermediate judging contest.

During Monday's meeting of the Nolan County Commissioners, a few presentations were heard from the Nolan County Sheriff's Office .

A house fire that sparked at 7 a.m. Tuesday in Nolan County is being investigated Nolan County Sheriff's Office along with the Texas State Fire Marshal's Office, according to a statement from the sheriff's office Thursday.
