Nicholas County Woman Claims Civil Rights Were Violated

If you read the entire thread you would know that it is not a rumor. The suit was filed. These things take a long time to work their way through court. It is my understanding that it is in review in Federal Court. It could take forever before there are any more facts available. We can always count on some moron's uninformed opinion though to keep us entertained. :)

This case is not filed in the federal court, the federal court would laugh it out of the building. There is no basis for it to be heard in federal court, barely enough for it to be heard in state court.

You must be worried about the case. It is in Federal Court and will have a positive outcome. I have heard that more evidence will come out as soon as it finds it's courtroom. Be patient.

this case IS NOT in federal court! don't know where YOU get your information. there is no basis whatsoever for this to be in federal court. if it were moved out of nicholas county, it would have gone to another city - not federal court. go to wv federal courts pay to look up a case and let me know if you find the case. let me save you your money, the answer is no! not in federal court!

Yep, you are 100% right..no business in federal court. It's the DEFENSE that made the motion to move it there so it got out of the County and hopefuly lost.

There was a council meeting held the day after Memorial Day ( May 2009 ). Rumor has it the Mayor was busted in that meeting about his gambling habits. Rumor also has it that he lost his temper in that meeting. Call your council members, the recorder, Eric Palfry and ask why that Council meeting was NEVER aired. Demand to see it. Why on the TV website is it the ONLY missing video for Council meetings????? Could it be because the Mayor has ESP and KNEW in May that he was going to be sued in September???? I doubt he has ESP. I think he knew he was going down and ABUSED his power again to hide the truth from us. I have to wonder what else is out there???????( PLEASE POST FACTUAL FINDINGS )$100.00 reward to the person that finds the minutes, finds the tape and posts it with their real name and address!!!

Loosing minutes on purpose is a big problem. The lady that takes care of the minutes on tape has been doing it for many years. I hope she was not the one who lost them.

The "good ole boys club" runs everything in every small American town not just Summersville. If you bad boys think you can break it, I can't wait to watch. Won't ever happen here. That's why I don't work here, I don't shop here, and I pay taxes only so they won't take my property. I try not to contribute anything to their paycheck.
