Second H1N1-related death in Nacogdoches

A second person in Nacogdoches County has died from the H1N1 virus. A 53-year-old oil rig worker from Oklahoma died at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital on Friday afternoon.

Nacogdoches hospital reports first H1N1 death

A 55-year-old man from Missisippi, who was the first diagnosed hospitalization of the H1N1 virus in Nacogdoches, died early Thursday at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital, hospital officials said.

Approximately 3,000 arrest warrants for individuals in Nacogdoches County who have either failed to make a court appearance or written a bad check remain outstanding, and today local law enforcement agencies will be working to put a dent in that number through a countywide warrant roundup.
