Man Indicted For 1994 Rape In Decatur

A Morgan County grand jury has indicted a man in a 1994 rape. The suspect, Kenneth Jackson, is currently serving time in the Alabama Department of Corrections for three rape convictions.

Grantland says he won't seek re-election

" Rep. Ronald Grantland said the possibility of dirty campaign ads was the bigA gest factor in his decision not to seek re-election. Grantland, D-Hartselle, announced Wednesday that he will not run for a fourth term for the Alabama House District 9 seat that covers parts of Morgan and Cullman counties.
