East Stroudsburg man says he hit bus driver in self-defense

Charged with assaulting a Monroe County Transit Authority bus driver April 4, an East Stroudsburg man with a history of mental illness told a judge Tuesday that he was acting in self-defense when he punched the bus driver for not letting him off where he wanted to be left off.
