The last tornado to hit the area I recall was ten years ago (1988-89). I was a student at Mesa State and leaving for the summer break. I had asked my Friend, Cindy, a local from Olathe, if Grand Junction ever got Tornados, she laughed and thought it was funny. Haha when I saw her the next school year. Thought you did not get tornados here? How weird.
