Man indicted for reported kidnapping turned officer involved shooting incident
A McLennan County Grand Jury has indicted a man on charges of aggravated assault against a public servant, for an incident back in December, when authorities responded to a reported kidnapping that turned into an officer involved shooting.
Man crushed to death while working on his truck
A 61-year-old man who was working on his truck at a rural home, just west of Waco, was killed Wednesday afternoon when the truck rolled off the ramps it was on and crushed him.
Lester Gibson defeats former employee for Democratic seat
Gibson won with 76 percent of the votes, 751-234 and is now the Democratic candidate for McLennan County Commissioner Precinct 2. His opponent, Manning, worked as a truck driver for Gibson and he also sits on the Waco ISD School Board.

West SWAT Standoff Ends Peacefully Tuesday
The McLennan County Sheriff's Office brought in a SWAT team. They fired tear gas into the home, and Bolden came out.
