Man rescued from his burning home

One man was temporarily displaced after a Sunday morning house fire. Firefighters were called to the home in the 200 block of Sheppard Street shortly after 7 a.m. when a neighbor spotted smoke coming from the house, said Scott Stewart, assistant fire chief.
