The Martin County Sheriff's Office has issued a Silver Alert for a 68-year-old with Alzheimer's. Police said they issued a Be On the Look Out for Guadalupe Garcia.

2 Port St. Lucie parents charged with leaving 7-month-old child in car

Two Port St. Lucie parents were charged with child neglect after shoppers noticed their 7-month-old girl had been left alone in an unlocked car for half an hour Monday, the Martin County Sheriff's Office said.

In light of the recession, what should the Martin County Commission do regarding the pay of the administrators, department directors and other top managers? Cut all their salaries by 10 percent until the economy improves because the taxpayers can't afford the current salaries.
