Hope ahead for I-26 connector

Under a proposed statewide transportation funding formula floated by Gov. Pat McCrory, the I-26 connector, which would improve the section of interstate highway that skirts the edge of downtown Asheville and links I-240 and I-26, could get a higher priority from the N.C. Department of Transportation.
