I want to thank our District Attorney for doing the right thing by recusing her office from our CGJ.

I have already met with the investigator for the 7th district and I am in the process of turning over the evidence collected so far.

Any of you with information regarding wrong doings by past or present public officials of Luna County, may contact me, or send your information directly to: Senior Investigator, 855 Van Patten, Truth or Consequences, New Mexico 87901.

It is now up to "We the People" if we truly want justice in our County.

We can no longer just elect people to office and trust or rely on their judgment alone. Just because we place one person in a position of power, does not automatically make them any more intelligent than yourself. How can anyone represent YOU, if you don't tell them what you want?

I read on topix where many of you are making comments that some official is doing something wrong; Is this because you personally do not like them? Is it something you heard? Or do you actually have evidence that something is/was being done illegally?

I would ask you to "quit your bitchin" and do something about it! The only people that can't fight city hall are those that sit on their backsides and do nothing but complain.

Now is your opportunity to clean up the corruption in our County. It is up to you and no one else, because bad politics is a cancer that must be removed and you are the surgeon.

Those of you wanting to start a "Citizens Watchdog Group" may contact me and I will help set one up.
It must be NON-PARTISAN. No personal agendas should be allowed, and should be run along very strict guide lines as to what, as a group, you wish to accomplish.

This group should be composed of people in different age groups,(let's get some young people involved ). The group should be limited to possibly 10 to 12 persons, with a back up list of replacements.

A lot of that going around Gordon. I hope this note finds you doing well and in good health. I cannot tell you in mere words how pleased I am to read your message concerning the CGJ! You, with the help of a few of our fellow citizens have started this County of Luna down the path of recovery from oppression. I am also pleased that you are attempting to move forward with the suggestion of a ‘watchdog’ type of citizens oversight group. I truly believe such is needed in Luna Co., if for no other reason to safe guard what little has and is being gained. Keep up the good work Gordon!

Hi Gordon! Thank you for you great work. I would like to see the Tourism and Development Committee investigated. I can offer my own testimony from my brief period on that committee. There is much to also be discovered at the Chamber of Commerce. The CofC MUST be investigated and included in the prosecution...along with those in leadership positions if any wrong doing can be proved.

Daily Horoscope for January 2

Taurus

It's important that you keep that famous bull-headedness in check over the next couple of weeks. Be cool, calm and sensible and you'll find that you end up with things correctly and tidily done. Stick to the straight and narrow, no matter what the distractions or irritations around you. If you think outside the square, you'll begin to see how visualisation can change and shape your life. Trust your hunches and be ready to move on them.
