High School almost complete after earthquake hits three years ago

On August 23, 2011, a 5.8 magnitude earthquake hit the small town of Mineral . The quake was felt from the Carolinas to Canada and left severe damages to two of the schools in the Louisa County school system.

Louisa County Man Sentenced to Five Years in Prison on Drug Conviction

Millard Chisholm, 66, of Bumpass, was sentenced to five years in prison for two counts of distribution of cocaine, one count of possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, one count of possession of a firearm with cocaine, and one count of possession with intent to distribute marijuana.
