Yes, just because someone didn't finish or go to college, doesn't make them stupid.

I agree that one's native intelligence and finishing college are not the same thing.

However, finishing college does demonstrate the important life skills of hard work, self-discipline, planning, and making the plan happen.

Achievers tend not just to work hard but to work on a plan in a directed way. It can involve very long hours and much time developng one's knowledge and skill sets.

My point was that perhaps people should look carefully at Wamp's track record with this in mind. It is my personal view that his not finishing college could be a concern about his long-term effectiveness for the state in a difficult environment.
