Did we really think she wouldn't sue us? I cannot believe that we would terminate a person, simply because there is an "R" or a "D" after her name. I cannot believe that our county attorney did not speak out and advise "the mayor and co." that we could be sued for firing her without just cause. Whatever someone thinks of Dana Zehner personally is their own business, but she did her job and she did it well! I cannot believe that our elected officials were too stupid to not exercise due diligence and find out what legal liabilities we were exposing ourselves to. Yes, we probably have insurance for such a loss, but the court costs and legal fees along will cost this county...money that would be better spent, say on schools.

I thought the same thing, Mom when they fired Dana. I did not her that well but I think she did a very good job while she worked at that county office. It's just like anything else around here. You are either in the clan or you are out. If you are honest, hardworking, dedicated, you better watch out because you will be out the door if they have somebody in mind for your job. It's the network of Loudon County. I have stood back and watched it for about 4 or 5 years now. What a pity.

She ought to win.
With the job she did for Loudon County, why does it matter which "party-of-big-government " she's affiliated with?

It's time to take this county back and I know someone running against Nancy who is about to make an appearance.

Well, ain't that the truth. Things seem so slimy around here and it almost makes me ashamed that we let it get out of hand. It is my fault too because I trusted some people that has done some really wrong things in my city and county. Sad, sad, sad! We can change that though if we stick together and not be fooled anymore. Hopefully we can support the people that we can trust and not be conned by the liars anymore.

Daily Horoscope for December 6

Capricorn

You're in a very generous and kind frame of mind today, and you'll go out of your way to help others if you think they need it. You might donate some money to a good cause or decide that charity begins at home. If you're buying gifts for some of your loved ones it will be difficult to know when to stop, because you could easily get carried away.
