Chief deputy faces obstruction charge

A Lincoln County grand jury indicted Chief Deputy Barry Taylor with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office on Monday for obstruction of justice this afternoon.

It is getting hard to have faith in our sheriff and now with charges pending a some deputies from obstruction to sexual charges I am beginning to be concerned about which can be trusted and the ones that can't. The ones that were in before our new sheriff I would have thought but they too are under pressure to do as told. The bad publicity is not helping the citizens of Lincoln County to feel safe or that they can trust our law enforcement officers. I hope all of us can survive until election time. The SBI needs to talk to more than employees as they are under pressure to keep quiet.
