NTSB releases report on plane crash that killed couple

LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Federal investigators have released a preliminary report to WINK News about a plane crash that killed a part-time Southwest Florida couple. Larry and Jane Glazer died nearly two weeks ago when their Naples-bound plane crashed off the coast of Jamaica.

ASPCA Offers $2,500 Reward for Information Leading to Arrest in Lee County Cat Cruelty Case

The ASPCA today announced that it will offer a $2,500 reward for information leading to an arrest in the case of a deceased cat discovered inside a cooler with a rope tied around its neck on September 2 in Lee County, Fla. According to Lee County Domestic Animal Services, which is leading the investigation, the female gray and white tabby was discovered by a resident on the side of the road on Elva Avenue in Lehigh Acres.

Bonita Springs landmark vandalized

Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public's help finding out who is behind a massive vandalism of a long-standing Bonita Springs landmark. Sometime during the early morning hours of Sunday, September 14, unknown suspects painted the phrase "Lost Boys" across the front of the old "Ship" restaurant, located at 24080 S. Tamiami Trail in Bonita Springs.

LEE COUNTY, Fla.- Deputies are asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing 90-year-old man. Donald Gingell left his residence located on the 10000 block of Oxbow Rd. at approximately 9:30 a.m. today to deliver newspapers to St. Vincent de Paul Church on Palm Beach Blvd. When his wife called him at 11:30 a.m., she says Gingell became upset and hung up the phone.

"The model T is the beginning of the modern day affordable car," Site Historian at the Edison & Ford Winter Estates John Telischak said. "Most of us have lived here long enough that we're going to go over that bridge no matter what it's called, Lee County Commissioner Brian Hamman said.
