Police officer among 2 found shot to death
State police say a Bedford police officer and a woman who recently broke up with him have been found shot to death in an apparent murder-suicide. Lawrence County coroner John Sherrill says 35-year-old Kyle Brown and 29-year-old Kathryn R. Tucker died of apparent gunshot wounds Monday morning and that Brown's wound appeared to be self-inflicted.
