Democratic caucus electing state convention delegates

The Baldwin County Democratic Party will hold caucus elections Saturday to elect delegates to the Democratic Party of Georgia's State Convention to be held in Dublin Aug. 9. Any registered democratic voter of Baldwin County is welcome to participate in the 9 a.m. event at Allied Arts located at 201 N. Wayne St. downtown.

Atlanta: Man sentenced to more than 21 years for distributing child pornography.

Herbert Eugene Burroughs, 47, of Dublin, Georgia was sentenced last week by United States District Court Senior Judge Dudley H. Bowen, Jr. to over 21 years in prison, followed by ten years of supervised release, for distributing child pornography.
