North Dakota Republican congressional candidate Duane Sand says he escaped serious injury when he crashed and flipped his plane in a cornfield after its engine stopped.
Counties get funds for weed control efforts
More than $360,000 has been awarded to county weed boards for weed control projects through the Targeted Assistance Grant program, according to North Dakota Agriculture Commissioner Roger Johnson.
