Nice way to distract people’s attention from the wasted tax payer money at the PD. You must draw a paycheck from the village or a member of the SET Team. And every one knows if you spuuuu fear at the public it will help justify your agenda. Commonsense!

CHARLIE - You must've really gotten shafted somewhere along the lines because all of your posting is against the Village Board, the Police Department, the Administration, etc. Your comments are usually of the derogatory nature but with a victimized undertone.

I say let the cops do their jobs. If it costs extra from time to time to keep our town safe, have at it. I do not understand anyone feeling otherwise, especially with broad based generalized comments that are then supposed to be taken for fact and as items for action. How can anyone take action to fix something that is a puff of hot air?

Does the poster has a reason for wanting the police department to be weak and ineffective? Are they interfering with your activities perhaps?

No im not against the Mayor or the Village Board or the PD. I like Mayor Hanson i think he is doing a great job.I just dont want to see the Police Department take advantage of him and the citizens of Antioch and cost the village money with overtime that is not needed. Why cant this extra money be spent on opening up the two vacant fire stations in antioch.Mayor Hanson needs to ask the right questions to the right people and u will see my comments are true.

Because Lord knows you are going to need those two extra fire stations if you don't support the police dept's effort.

I think the other 2 fire stations are owned by the fire district not the village.I know the one on grass lake road isnt even in the village ,not sure on the other.

Daily Horoscope for January 5

Aries

There is minor evil around today, whether it is harsh words or actions. Relationships with non spiritual people will tend to be abrasive, as you come to understand that such people can never be trusted, for their agenda is not love. Beware of criticism from colleagues or friends. Avoid being narrow minded and confining your views to the conventional. You may want to argue with everyone and everything, but beware of devouring your own energy in the process.
