Illinois man charged with robbing bank An Illinois man is behind bars in North Florida after officers arrested him for robbing a Lafayette County bank and using a teller's car as the getaway vehicle Tuesday.
A suspect in the robbery of a Mayo bank this morning is in custody. The man, whose name has not been released, told a teller at Lafayette State Bank that he had a gun, according to deputy Randy Henderson of the Lafayette County Sheriffs Office.
