The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls issued a flash flood warning at 8:41 p.m. for eastern Kingsbury County, eastern Miner County, northwestern Brookings County and northwestern Lake County until 11:30 p.m. The National Weather Service's Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall across the area under the warning.
