Bell unemployment rate steady, over 13 percent
The county unemployment rate has remained steady at over 13 percent in August, according to the latest Labor Force Estimates from the Kentucky Office of Employment and Training .

A Perry County man admitted Thursday in federal court, he helped rob a bank five years ago and stole more than $200,000. 22-year old Randy Gilliam pled guilty to armed bank robbery involving kidnapping and the use of a firearm during a violent crime.
