Iron County Board offers license for road
“If this board were to grant the easement, you would be giving up ownership of real property which will have a real impact on the property value. The county can sell it, but it can't give it away. The state will not allow that.”
The Iron County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday rejected a request for an easement across county-owned land in Stambaugh Township, but in a 3-2 vote offered a license for a road as an alternative. via The Daily News
