Considering the fact that these numbers don't take into account the people who have already been dis-enrolled (after their third and final Federal Extension of course), or that weren't eligible to begin with, I hardly see any reason for celebration.

I heard of this happening with work comp claims. Direct deposit right into the US checking account and withdrawn in Mexico. Then they come back into the USA under a new name and do another work comp claim. And this is done by thousands of people.

It is a tragic waste of Human Resouces... The published numbers in some places are actually double what is printed, nationally.

Our Gov't has let us down. Not Obama per se, although it is close to Status Quo.... All our history in the You Ess Ay is one of skewed priorities.. This is why we have many of the very serious Societal problemsthat we do...

Living wages, with abundant work for our working people - would make a huge difference in the quality of life in our Towns, Villages and Cities...

Look at the staggeringly high price of living in Northern California...!!

The Pay Levels of most of our people come No Where Close to taking care of increasing bills, and life in general.

I find it very sad.... People are struggling all over the Country.. But, Mendo Cty is having a very rough time of it.

Oh, please tell me that this discussion has NOT devolved into a Racial epithet... Oh, of course it would... When people are hurting, the first thing they do is berate the outsider....

The only beration is a spinner changing the subject.
If someone is taking state funds illegally then their is nothing wrong with comparing notes.
Now if people would drop a dime.

And just think, NO government employees have been let go. No teachers have been let go. No CalTrans or County road department have been let go. I wonder why things continue to get worse?

Oh the county just hired some more folks! I cant get over the fact, that the BOS was just telling the community that they were going to let go some Deputies. What the heck is going on around here. How about putting some money away to save for when times get worse. Or, how about funding something worth while. Give me a break. We need NEW representation on the BOS. what a bunch of Clowns. Get rid of this CEO too. Paid too much for work that could be done at a cheaper rate.

Mark my words. In the twenty-third hour, money will miraculously be found which will allow the city/county to avoid any lay offs.
