Wind rips roofs, toss trees in Menno as tornadoes rage across region
Powerful straight-line winds are being blamed for damage in Menno, where roofs were ripped off buildings and trees fell on a couple vehicles and littered streets as tornado-spawning storms raged across eastern South Dakota Tuesday night.
Menno Residents Pull Together To Clean Up From Wind Storm
Just over 700 people live in the Hutchinson County community of Menno. About 8:30 Tuesday night high winds and hail hit the town and in it's wake there was a lot of tree damage and some damage to homes.
Many cities are dealing with the clean-up from those storms today and the city of Menno is one of them.
A strong storm moved through Menno Tuesday night, leaving behind a path of damage.
